PROJECT OUTLINE:

Partially redesign and update existing Google Sheets add-on by developing a new database solution on Cloud Storage (Big Query).

The job includes the development of the Finance API data to Cloud Storage (Big Query) integration as well as the connection to the end-user add-on.

Scope:

Update almost 2000+ companies financial data includes:

• Real-time data update -> Real-time price quote, Market open price, Previous day's closing price, Price changes, current high and low prices
• Historic data update -> Change of price in the last 7 days, in the last month, since the start of current year, price last year and price in the last 3 years.
• Historic Charts data -> Change of price (accumulative) in the last 7 days, in the last month, since the start of current year, price last year and price in the last 3 years.

BigQuery (Cloud) Integration:

Data is updated on an hourly basis and the data is stored inside the bigquery tables and updated according to any changes from the finance API.

Payment Gateway (Stripe) Integration:

Add-on users can avail 15 days free trial upon add-on installation and afterwards a small fee is charged on a yearly basis. A recurring payment is charged, if the user has opted in.

BigQuery to Spreadsheet Dashboard:

A dashboard spreadsheet is also maintained for data visibility in order to review what’s stored inside the BQ, also to make it possible to add/remove companies into/from the Bigquery tables.
